turns out this season actually exists.

the train is coming!!!!

prior to this occasion i would have thought it impossible, or at the very least highly unlikely, to hear this phrase repeated as many times as i did in the moments before, obviously, the train came. i admit it: i mocked them. i thought them foolish, simple people. but who was laughing in the end? well, i was. i will admit though that the train was a hell of a lot more exciting than i gave it credit for. it was a multi-sensory experience: the hot wind, the crazy noise, and a giant train passing just feet beneath you.

this kid was pretty cool. he started a 5 second countdown minutes before the train actually passed under us, somehow missed the actual moment, and then continued to countdown from 5 the entire time the train passed beneath us...which was a long time....while dancing. but i'm totally not making fun of him. he was right. the train was awesome.
